We’re getting married!

Our Story
Jas and Ash met in September 2012 at The University of Edinburgh. They got together just a month later and have been together ever since - that’s 10 years this year and counting!
A natural charmer, Ash finally proposed to Jas in the middle of the Christmas lights of Lake Como, Italy. Thankfully, Jas said "YES"!
People have been telling them they act like a married couple for years… well, might as well make it official!

What to wear
Formal attire
It’s a summer wedding, so no need to go all tuxedo on us(!)
Only caveat is to not wear a lehenga or white dress…
Where to stay
There are plenty of hotels and Airbnbs nearby. There’s also a night tube, Uber and other taxis + buses available so this shouldn’t be a problem.
If you’re having issues, let us know.

Getting around
Since we are in London, transport is not an issue. There are plenty of buses, tubes taxis and e-bikes available at all times.
Taxis: Use your existing Uber or Bolt apps (or you can hail a London black cab on the road)
Buses: There’s a bus stop right next to the venue
Tube / underground: There are three tube stations nearby
Canary Warf - Jubilee, DLR & Elizabeth lines
Crossharbour - DLR
Mudchute - DLR
Paying for things
Cash, card and Google / Apply Pay all work in most shops and restaurants. But you need a card or Google / Apple Pay to use public transport as cash is not accepted.
Gift registry
If you’re wondering what to get us as a gift for the wedding, here’s an idea one of our friends gave us, which sounded great…
We moved recently and discovered that although we’re just 2 people, we have the same amount of stuff as a family of 5!!
So instead of adding to this, we thought it would be easier for you and us if we just had a collection pot to help us out for our Honeymoon :)
